ITG climbs the AI rankings for umbrella employment
ITG doubles its mentions in ChatGPT and Gemini answers on umbrella employment topics.

Objective
Improve ITG's visibility in ChatGPT's and Gemini's AI answers on umbrella employment topics.
Scope
- Comparison: November 2025 vs March 2026
- 38 prompts selected from 150 analyzed
- Location: France
- Measurement tools: Qwairy, Meteoria
ITG becomes the answer ChatGPT and Gemini recommend
ITG was already known to ChatGPT. It was missing from the answers that convert.
What seven articles changed on portage salarial queries
A consultant deciding to go independent asks ChatGPT what a portage salarial service costs and where to find one. The model answers with names. ITG, one of the best-established players in the French market, was absent from that answer.
A high score can hide the gaps that matter
We measured before publishing. Thirty-eight prompts retained out of one hundred fifty analysed, three topics (portage salarial, salaire en portage salarial, se lancer en portage salarial), French market, ChatGPT and Gemini, tracked with Qwairy and Meteoria.
The aggregate numbers looked comfortable. ITG appeared in 67% of answers on portage salarial, 69% on salaire en portage salarial, 71% on se lancer en portage salarial. Two thirds of the time, the model knew the brand.
The prompt-level view told a different story. On "C'est quoi le tarif moyen pour un service de portage salarial et où le trouver ?", no mention. On "Où trouver un service ou une société de portage salarial fiable pour débuter cette année ?", no mention on ChatGPT and position four on Gemini. Both are bottom-funnel questions, asked by someone ready to sign. General familiarity had failed to convert into presence at the point of decision.
Seven articles, placed where the models already read
We identified the media that ChatGPT and Gemini pull from when they answer French questions on portage salarial, pricing, and getting started, then published there. Seven AI-First™ articles followed, including Le Monde Informatique and Be A Boss, each written against a specific question and structured so an answer engine can cite it.
Six articles out of seven produced a mention
Out of seven articles published, six are used to feed ChatGPT's answers, and the brand is mentioned in six responses. That is 86% of the publication plan converting into presence inside the answer.
The two documented prompts flipped. After publication on 30 January 2026, the article on Le Monde Informatique is cited as a source and ITG is named in the pricing answer. Same sequence on Be A Boss for the "reliable provider to get started" query, absent before, cited and mentioned after.
Mentions doubled and the scores climbed toward saturation
Between November 2025 and March 2026, ITG went from 13 mentions to 27. Cadres en missions moved from 12 to 19, Jump from 11 to 15, Malt from 8 to 16. ITG posted the largest absolute gain in the set (+14) and holds the highest volume overall.
Performance scores moved on all three topics. Salaire en portage salarial went from 69% to 87%, portage salarial from 67% to 79%, se lancer en portage salarial from 71% to 81%. At 87%, the first topic is approaching the practical ceiling: the brand now appears in nearly nine answers out of ten.
Average position moved from 3,2 to 3. Modest, and honestly so. Volume was the lever this campaign pulled, and volume is what it delivered.
What this case proves for already-visible brands
Being known to the models is a starting condition, not a result. The models can recognise a brand across a category and still leave it out of the specific answers where a buyer is choosing a provider. Those answers are decided by what the press and the specialist media said recently, on that exact question.
The audit finds the gaps. Publication closes them. A brand at 67% has more to gain than a brand at 7%, because the distance to the ceiling is short and the buyer is already asking.
